Executive Team Announcement: Kelley Battles, Vice President of Business Development

We are thrilled to welcome Kelley Battles to the Meats by Linz executive team as our new Vice President of Business Development, effective November 3, 2025.

Kelley brings more than 25 years of leadership experience driving growth, innovation, and operational excellence across a range of industries – including food manufacturing, premium branded products, and information technology. His career includes roles as CEO, President, and Vice President of Sales, where he has consistently delivered exceptional results by aligning strategic vision with measurable performance.

An award-winning executive, Kelley was a finalist in Ernst & Young’s Entrepreneur of the Year program, selected from over 2,000 companies for his pioneering use of High-Pressure Processing (HPP) technology in food manufacturing. His creative and strategic acumen have also earned him multiple national awards for marketing and brand development in both domestic and international markets.

At Meats by Linz, Kelley will focus on expanding market share, strengthening brand presence across foodservice and retail channels, and supporting our company’s continued growth trajectory. His approach to business development is energetic, creative, and hands-on, fostering collaboration, accountability, and innovation. Kelley is passionate about building long-lasting relationships and connecting exceptional products with discerning customers.

Kelley earned his Bachelor of Business Administration in Marketing from Baylor University and remains active in his community and church, leading men’s group trips and participating in various service initiatives. Outside of work, he enjoys family time, college football and baseball, and outdoor activities such as golf, hunting, and offshore fishing. When it comes to his favorite cut of beef—Kelley can’t decide between the spinalis and outside skirt.
